Keeping
Your Small Business in Business: Keeping
your small business in business in today’s environment is no easy
business!
But the Woodstock Downtown Business Association (WDBA) is hoping
that its new seminar series “ Keeping Your Small Business in
Business” will help downtown retailers increase revenue and protect
cash flow.
The series of seminars will bring in a variety of speakers that
can give small downtown businesses practical information for success.
The
seminars are held at the WDBA/Main Street Offices at 223 Main Street on
the Historic Square,
Woodstock, IL.
The
first of these seminars for the 2008-2009 series are focusing on the

Create
Downtown Magic with the Main Street Program
The
Illinois Main Street
program is a volunteer-driven, preservation-based, downtown
revitalization program. This state program is based on the Four-Point
Approach developed by the National Trust’s
National
Main
Street
Center
.
Over
1,600 communities across the country have used this comprehensive
methodology to revitalize their traditional commercial districts.
Main Street
projects have spurred more than $103 million in public improvements and
more than $581 million in private reinvestments in their downtowns. The WDBA was one of only three
Illinois
organizations that received designation
as an Associate Main Street Program in November 2007.
Come
learn and participate and be on the ground floor of something important
and permanent to the life of our community.
